ABOUT Perry Public Schools
The Perry Board of Education members believe the American public school was originally established to provide youth with opportunities for desired mental, physical, social, and emotional development. This time-honored concept continues at the present, and developing those fundamental skills is essential to successful living and shall be a major objective of Perry Public Schools.
Located in north central Oklahoma, Perry is a strong community. Born at the opening of the Cherokee Outlet in 1893, the citizens take pride in its historic roots. The downtown square has retained it historic look with over 100 of its business buildings on the National Historic Register.
With the election of the first School Board shortly after the Run, residents have strived for excellence in the educational system. Their commitment to education is evidenced in the fine facilities today.
